Dear Friends,

Table 106 Nijmegen celebrates its 35th anniversary on Saturday the 8th of November 2003. We would like to invite you and your partner to participate in the festivities.
All ingredients are there for an unforgettable party: An exciting competition during the day, plenty of food & drinks, a fundraising event, swinging music from the soul band Motownhead and many distinguished guest from all over Europe.

The Round Table 106 Open
Reception will be at 15.00 hrs, followed by the “Round Table 106 Open” tournament at 16.00 hrs. Battle for eternal glory and of course for the magnificent “Round Table 106 Open” Cup. You can register for either the petanque or the tennis tournament. (See registration form).

Food
Dinner will be served around 19.00 hrs. Do not expect stuffed swan livers or crocodile steaks but good, decent Dutch home cooking.

Drinks
The bar is open from 15.00 hrs till late. You won’t get thirsty. Promise.

Party with Motownhead
At about 21.00 hrs it is time to hit the dance floor. Get into the mood with the world famous (in Nijmegen) soul band Motownhead. This 11 person band will blow your socks off with its 5 man strong copper section.

Speeches
No anniversary without speeches. During the “cool-down” periods when Motownhead is having a break, there will be plenty of opportunities for speeches, songs and sketches, looking back at 35 years of Table 106 Nijmegen. KICO
Part of your ticket price will be donated to KICO, an organisation that organises holiday camps for children in need. Our fellow tabler, Sandor Dooper, is actively involved in this program. We hope to raise enough money this year to provide these children with sports equipment.

In line with the fundraising event we have chosen a sporty location. Tennisclub “De Oorsprong” Address: Alde Weteringweg 2, 6573 AZ, Beek-Ubbergen (For directions see website: www.viamichelin.com)

Registration:
Registration costs: 50 Euro all in, to be paid in cash to the treasurer upon arrival.
Registration Deadline: Friday the 24th of October

IMPORTANT: Please contact Aswin Menke concerning your travel plans. He will arrange for transportation when required. He will also arrange your stay with a host family.
