Birthday gift from EW Facility Services - Odd-job marathon at Bio Holiday Park

Birthday gift
27 February 2015 – Odd jobs at the Bio Holiday Park for a year long, to add extra shine to a silver jubilee: a remarkable move by EW Facility Services, with the support of a host of employees. The kick-off of the odd-job marathon will take place on Saturday 28 February.
For 25 years EW Facility Services has believed in the positive contribution that its facility service provision makes to guests’, visitors’ and employees’ experience of its clients’ total service packages. Just as it believes in helping others. That’s why the company has decided to not just hold its own jubilee celebrations, but also to put a deserving charity in the spotlight. The link with the Bio Holiday Park was easily made. The charity aims to let its visitors – children with a disability – enjoy themselves to the full together with their families or groups from their care facilities. And it does this in its own unique, hospitable way.
Many hands
A comprehensive action plan forms the basis for the work. Every first Saturday after the 25th of the month, a group of managers and employees gets down to work, giving a thorough makeover to one of the fifteen large Bio bungalows and the “boilerhouse” building. By the end of the year there’ll be a tangible result at the holiday park in Arnhem. And EW Facility Services is also making great efforts to get its business associates involved, to lend a helping hand or act as sponsors. Its own employees can become sponsors too.
Major player
In a quarter of a century EW Facility Services has grown to become a major player in the hospitality industry. It is the market leader in hotel cleaning, and has successfully transferred its innovative hospitality concepts to other market segments. And that hasn’t gone unnoticed in the hospitality sector. Prestigious clients such as the Royal Concertgebouw, Rabobank Netherlands, Holland Casino, the Papendal Sports Centre and Hotel Okura in Amsterdam are all delighted to work with the company. And in the coming period that also goes for the Bio Holiday Park, which is making great efforts to enhance its facilities to meet its client’s wants and needs even more effectively. So the extra support and involvement of EW Facility Services – which is also based in Arnhem – has come at just the right time.
Happy holidays
The Bio Holiday Park is fully equipped to give children with multiple disabilities a truly unforgettable holiday, together with their brothers, sisters and parents. Groups from care facilities are also welcome. The spacious bungalows, as well as all the indoor and outdoor attractions, are accessible to all visitors, whether or not they have a disability. These include a specially adapted heated swimming pool, a cinema, a Living Surface virtual play floor and a number of sensory therapy areas. There are also numerous outdoor opportunities, such as a riding school in the woods. The charity does not receive any government grants, and is completely dependent on donations for its activities. The partnership with EW Facility Services is a shining example of how to help the Bio Holiday Park.
