A bespoke solution
19 April 2016 - The Basis Foundation in Doorn offers psychological support to people from the world of the uniformed public services. The beautiful building that has housed the Basis since October 2013 contains offices, hotel rooms, a variety of meeting and treatment rooms, a restaurant and a sauna. EW Facility Services has been providing the cleaning maintenance at the Basis since 1 March.
Flexibility
For the cleaning maintenance of the multifunctional building, the Basis was looking for a partner with experience of fluctuating occupancy rates, expertise in the field of hospitality and knowledge of results-oriented working. Following an intensive tendering process, the choice was made for EW Facility Services. Stef Reimer, hospitality manager of the Basis, says: “We were looking for greater flexibility, with the service - and so also the cleaning costs - changing in line with our occupancy. EW Facility Services’ bid fulfilled these criteria, and also offered us the opportunity to retain a permanent employee at the Basis. She continues to be employed by our organisation, but forms a part of the EW Facility Services team, receives training from them and works in line with the new results-oriented approach.”
Bespoke solution and quality
